香港中文大學EMBA招生講座及大師班 《孫子兵法:兵法EMBA》

《孫子兵法》。這本被譽為「東方兵學鼻祖」、「世界古代第一兵書」及「兵學經典」的名著,不但深深影響中國過去兩千五百年的戰爭歷史,也令不少西方的軍事家折服傾倒。美國陸軍湯瑪斯將軍編輯之《戰爭之根基》(Roots of Strategy) 一書中, 將《孫子兵法》列為五部世界兵學著作之一。而日本兵法學者大橋武夫在其所著的《兵法孫子》一書中,更推崇《孫子兵法》為世界最高「兵法說」,並指出《孫子兵法》生生不息,宜古宜今。

《孫子兵法》的內容言簡意賅,深邃恢弘,而其中的一些智慧格言,例如「勝兵先勝而後求戰,敗兵先戰而後求勝」、「知彼知己,百戰不殆」、「百戰百勝,非善之善者也;不戰而屈人之兵, 善之善者也」、「上兵伐謀,其次伐交,其次伐兵,其下攻城」等,皆對現代管理在策略釐定時有非常重要的啟迪。

香港中文大學EMBA大師課《孫子兵法:兵法EMBA》嘗試跨越時空,探討和分析《孫子兵法》所蘊涵的戰略理念與定律,以歸納出一些策略思維的智慧,讓管理人員能有所省思,從而獲得啟發,推演出嶄新及有效的企業策略,使之能在二十一世紀這個競爭激烈的全球商業市場中脫穎而出。

EMBA Info Session and Master Class on “Sun Tzu’s Art of War for EMBA”

“Sun Tzu’s Art of War,” hailed as the “founder of Eastern military studies,” the “world’s first ancient military treatise,” and a “classic in military strategy,” has had a profound impact not only on China’s warfare history over the past 2,500 years but has also captivated many Western military strategists. General Thomas R. Phillips of the U.S. Army included “Sun Tzu’s Art of War” as one of the five world military classics in his book “Roots of Strategy”. Japanese politician Takeo Ohashi even acclaimed it as the paramount “Art of War” in the world, stating that it remains relevant and applicable throughout time.

This EMBA master class delves into the strategic concepts and principles embedded in “Sun Tzu’s Art of War.” Prof. Leo Sin will extract strategic wisdom that prompts reflection for senior executives, inspiring them to derive innovative and effective business strategies that will set them apart in the competitive business environment of the 21st century.

About the Master Class Speaker:

Professor Leo Sin received his BBA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1979 and obtained his PhD degree in Marketing of British Columbia in 1993. He was the Director of the MSc Programme in Marketing at CUHK. Currently, he is on Honorary Institute Fellow of Asia Pacific Institute of Business (APIB) at CUHK. His research interests include Strategic Broad Management, Marketing in China, Chinese Wisdom (I Ching, Sun Tzu) and Management.
