Customer Needs and Strategic Management: Left-right Circles
Analysis《左右圈：整體策略分析》, edited by Prof. Andrew C. F. Chan, Ir. Dr. Conrad Wong, Dr. Diamond Tai and Mr. Tse Kwun-tung, was published in 2021 by the Chung Hwa Book Co. (HK) Ltd. and Hong Kong Academy of Management. It introduces the left-right circle theory which has been developed over the past 30 years and well-received by every generation of CUHK EMBA students. After years of refinement of the theory through teaching, practice and research, the book was finally published. It explores the different levels of customer needs (a.k.a. left circle) in plain language, and discusses how the readers can pair these needs with ones’ competences (a.k.a. right circle) in an elegant way, making every customer amazed. Plenty of practical examples are cited from the business world. By applying this theory, business executives can generally overcome different sorts of managerial or life challenges and reach the pinnacle of success.

Leadership in Extraordinary Times: Working Towards A New Normal, edited by Professor Howard P. Y. Lam and Mr. Joseph H. L. Ko, was published in 2021 by Infolink Publishing Ltd. It contains 11 speeches given by the following guests at EMBA Forum and other events: Mr. Ashley Ian Alder, SBS, JP, Mr. Leo Chan, Mr. Ellis Cheng, Ms. Christine O. W. Chow, Mr. Peter C. Hung, Dr. Simon Leung, Mr. Ken Lo, Prof. Larry Poon, Mr. Albert Wong, Mr. Kelvin Wu and Mr. Peter Yan, JP. This book features significant leaders’ insights on how things can be improved and move forward to the “New Normal” in this post-pandemic world.
