As an engineer by training but an executive by profession, I have learned to base my workplace decisions on a blend of engineering methodologies and managerial practices.Another turning point came when I embarked on the journey towards the CUHK EMBA, renowned for its world-class and made-in-Hong Kong status.I began this journey hoping to regenerate my management mindset and philosophy through a combination of the traditions and modernity of both China and the West.
Admittedly, I did not have the leisure to dedicate weekends to classes and evenings to reading and assignments until I had adapted to enjoying school life again.I found it was not worth skipping classes that were truly rewarding, thanks to dedicated professors and talented classmates fostering fun, insights, inspiration, achievements and leadership for the well-being not only of individuals and organisations, but also ultimately of society. What I acquire during this two-year study will undoubtedly nurture new perspectives for my other journeys ahead.
