Continuing Education Fund (CEF)

The Continuing Education Fund (CEF) subsidises adults with learning aspirations to pursue continuing education and training courses. Eligible applicants will be reimbursed 80% of their fees, subject to a maximum sum of HK$20,000 (with effect from 1 April 2019), on successful completion of a reimbursable course. The fees for more than one reimbursable course may be reimbursed, subject to the maximum ceiling of HK$20,000 per applicant not being exceeded.

Our EMBA course has been included in the list of reimbursable courses for CEF purposes. Participants would be eligible for reimbursement only upon their successful completion of the whole EMBA course. CEF applicants must apply directly with the Office of the Continuing Education Fund (tel: 3142 2277, email: cef_sfo@wfsfaa.gov.hk) before the commencement of the whole course. Information about the eligibility, application and other details can be found at the following website: www.wfsfaa.gov.hk/cef

Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS)

The Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) offered by the HKSAR Government provides financial assistance in the form of loan(s) to eligible students to settle tuition fees of specific courses studied in Hong Kong, including our EMBA programme. The ENLS operates on a full-cost recovery basis and a life-time loan limit is imposed on each student eligible for receiving loans under the ENLS. As a reference, the life-time loan limit for 2018-19 was HK$364,000 and the ENLS interest rate as of 1 October 2018 was 1.216% per annum.

In this connection, our EMBA students are eligible to apply for this loan under the ENLS to cover tuition fees. Information about the eligibility, application, loan limit, interest fee and other details can be found at the following website: www.wfsfaa.gov.hk/sfo/eng/schemes/nlss.htm. For further enquiries about the ENLS, please contact the ENLS enquiry hotline at 2150 6223.
